30×30, Round 2!

I am a food blogger, not a fashion blogger. But that’s not stopping me from taking Kendi Everyday’s 30 for 30 challenge along with over 800(!) other lovely ladies around the internet! Here’s the deal: a big group of us lady bloggers are choosing 30 pieces from our wardrobes and wearing them in various combinations for the next 30 days.  I did this challenge last fall with my friend Amy Russell taking photos. This time around, my friend Liz Love will be helping take pictures along with Amy.  I am super excited and happy to be working with both of them!

Due to reader feedback (kind emails from two people), I’m going to start posting these photos on the front page of my blog, in the category “30×30.” This will allow me to respond better to comments and keep up with the challenge more easily. Plus, that way fashion blog visitors will get a chance to see my regular food writing along side the challenge.

So, without further ado, here’s day #1 of 30!

  1. Woohoo! Can’t wait to see all the 30×30 goodness through the lens of the ever-fabulous Liz Love!

  2. Thanks for your support, Amy! I talked with Nathan and Liz both about having dinner with you, me and Rami this weekend. It’ll be like Party of Five. 😀

  3. High Five!! Welcome back… we have to see if we can find some more short hair 30ers to join our short hair hottie crew!

  4. Yay! So glad you’re doing the challenge because I’m a major foodie, too! Food is my 2nd love after fashion… Score!!!

  5. Man, you have the best talent around to take your pictures.
I love that sweater. It wraps so cozily with that belt. (Is cozily a word?)

  6. That is a sweet outfit! I’m always on the lookout for new ways to combine blue tops with blue jeans, and that belted sweater is so chic and cozy. Can’t wait to see more…

  7. Looks like you put together the perfect snuggly chic outfit for the weather. I’m doing my first 30 x 30 this round and loved looking back your previous remix for inspiration. P.S. – I’m also a Texas food blogger. http://mymealstoday.wordpress.com

    • Lee, thank you so much for your comment. I’m so pleased to find a kindred food-fashion-blogging spirit! What part of Texas are you in, if you don’t mind me asking…
